ABSTRACT
The pedagogical proposal will be developed at fundacion san alejandro in tunja, with two students that present a moderate mental retardation. Also, it is intended to enhance and secure their literacy process throuhg pedagogical strategies such as: observation, association, interpretation, taes and games, literacy, deing the way how human beings communicate each other, helps them to acquire new knowledge, enrich their intellect and definitely their vocabulary.
